JACK H. FLORIN, MD

Dr. Florin is committed to treating all patients compassionately with state-of-the-art techniques while maintaining their dignity and independence. He views each patient encounter as a collaboration. After 50 years of neurological practice, he is now “emeritus.”

He graduated cum laude in English from Cornell University and Alpha Omega Alpha (the medical school equivalent of Phi Beta Kappa) from Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Following research fellowships sponsored by the National Institutes of Health at Stanford Medical Center and Harvard Medical School, he completed an internship at University of California San Francisco and Neurology residency at Albert Einstein. He is board-certified in Neurology, Clinical Neurophysiology and Headache Medicine (one of only several hundred certified headache specialists worldwide) and as a Multiple Sclerosis Specialist by the Consortium of Multiple Sclerosis Centers.

Dr. Florin has 50 years of experience. He is Adjunct Clinical Professor at Keck School of Medicine (USC) and is the founder and medical director of the Fullerton Neurology and Headache Center. He has been recognized by the Orange County Medical Association as a Physician of Excellence in Neurology. US News and World Report ranks him in the top 10% of neurologists nationwide.

Outside of the office, his life revolves around his family: Wendy, his wife of 50 years, an MSW/LCSW and his 3 children: Lindsay, an attorney in Los Angeles; Whitney, a cosmetic surgeon in Orange County; and Marnie, a global diversity manager at Google.

A perfect day for him would be an early morning walk around Laguna Lake with his two Welsh Corgis, catching up on reading in the backyard and watching sports with his family.
